The audience was convinced that Engelbert Oehrlein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Blaschke was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Arne Blaschke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Engelbert Oehrlein went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Wendelins FSV's Hans Webel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Blaschke. That made the score 0-11 after 86 minutes of play. Arne Blaschke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Engelbert Oehrlein in the 92nd minute. Sergej Tözen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engelbert Oehrlein scored 0-12 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Blaschke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Wendelins FSV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC COMPTON.
