After 6 played minutes Notwende FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Burger-Heidger. Ingemar Bayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingemar Bayer might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kai Schorling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Bayer ran back to his position shaking his head. Ingemar Bayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Notwende FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Bayer came free, but Kai Schorling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alois Nittbaur hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingemar Bayer in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Schorling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alexander Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Brenner struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Claus Euskirchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notwende FC. Aydin Trachsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aydin Trachsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aydin Trachsel got free with Kai Schorling in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingemar Bayer scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kai Schorling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Claus Euskirchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexander Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Hebenthal was the one to do the kick off. Kai Schorling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Markmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ingemar Bayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Notwende FC's Alexander Brenner made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claus Euskirchen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexander Brenner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Claus Euskirchen made a huge save. When Berthold Klähr fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Notwende FC's protests and gave Berthold Klähr a yellow card for diving instead. 73 minutes into the game, one of Notwende FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alois Nittbaur charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alois Nittbaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Boyda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alois Nittbaur to maneuver through the defense. Ingemar Bayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kai Schorling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alois Nittbaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Boyda booed when Notwende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Burger-Heidger didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boyda fully deserved thier win.
