Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kay Schroers started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hemmingen's Glenn Jantzen got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Friedemann Mönnich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pinkus Knopf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Kay Schroers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinkus Knopf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pinkus Knopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrix Pitten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Jantzen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 15thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Torger Waibel would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Aloys Wester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torger Waibel came out and tried to block the shot, but Aloys Wester slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. In the 20th match minute, Meyerdamm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinz Heinzmann to maneuver through the defense. Glenn Jantzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Torger Waibel made a huge save. When Aloys Wester came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hemmingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloys Wester couldn't finish the play. Erkan Schreiber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torger Waibel having to interfere. A hard shot 28 in the game by Glenn Jantzen from a close distance when the talented Torger Waibel managed to make a qualified save. Meyerdamm's players were relieved. Pinkus Knopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedemann Mönnich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinkus Knopf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Schroers in the 33rd minute of the match. Erkan Schreiber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torger Waibel having to interfere. Aloys Wester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torger Waibel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Pinkus Knopf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kay Schroers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Erkan Schreiber made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Erkan Schreiber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torger Waibel was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Meyerdamm's Torger Waibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Jantzen in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hemmingen's Glenn Jantzen got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Hemmingen got a freekick which was hit by Oswald Tittmann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kay Schroers in the 60th minute of play forced Hemmingen's goalkeeper Pinkus Knopf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Oswald Tittmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torger Waibel. Meyerdamm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswald Tittmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Torger Waibel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkan Schreiber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meyerdamm's Torger Waibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Jantzen in the 66th minute of play. Pinkus Knopf was a little too slow when Friedemann Mönnich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-2. After some careless play in the Meyerdamm defense, Erkan Schreiber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torger Waibel. The Meyerdamm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torger Waibel should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Jantzen in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torger Waibel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meyerdamm's Torger Waibel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloys Wester in the 78th minute of play. Oswald Tittmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torger Waibel having to interfere. Pinkus Knopf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heinz Heinzmann in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Aloys Wester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hemmingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloys Wester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torger Waibel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Meyerdamm's zone, Erkan Schreiber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torger Waibel came out of the goal and Erkan Schreiber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hemmingen had won after a very even match.
