The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, 1FC Hainstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Ortlieb came free, but Hansjörg Bürger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philipp Balser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Florentin Albrecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hansjörg Bürger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Ortlieb in the 14th minute of the match. Florentin Albrecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Balser in the 19th minute of play. When Yavuz Ortlieb came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Linner Kinnas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Ortlieb couldn't finish the play. When Yavuz Ortlieb fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linner Kinnas's protests and gave Yavuz Ortlieb a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 1FC Hainstadt booed when Linner Kinnas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Ortlieb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yavuz Ortlieb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Bürger having to interfere. Boubacar Ahrens hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hansjörg Bürger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Bebel in the 41st minute. The wind increased when Artur Heilmann made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, 1FC Hainstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Ortlieb came free, but Hansjörg Bürger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, 1FC Hainstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boubacar Ahrens to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Yavuz Ortlieb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hansjörg Bürger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Yavuz Ortlieb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alfons Vicktor fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hansjörg Bürger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Bebel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linner Kinnas's Yavuz Ortlieb got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Linner Kinnas's Yavuz Ortlieb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjörg Bürger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Peter-Stefan Bernhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Christian Grimme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linner Kinnas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Grimme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesse Bebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Bürger having to interfere. Yavuz Ortlieb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Bürger having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Linner Kinnas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
