Berti Lührmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philo Bode in the 15th minute of the match. Jonas Petzolt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Vittorio Lerchner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Brandhagen's zone, Hendrix Schulze-Boysen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vittorio Lerchner came out of the goal and Hendrix Schulze-Boysen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Fabian Gunselmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fc Anker Wismar's Elmar Häss got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bosse Junker hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Kristian Breitscheid sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brandhagen's Vittorio Lerchner didn't even have to move. Berti Lührmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhard Wiedemeyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
