Kaspar Jacksch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volker Irmler in the 6th minute of the match. With 10 minutes on the clock, Friedrich Giurgin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hartwin Giebenrath to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sankt Aldegund FC's Raimar Hackel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Sankt Aldegund FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play.
