An unexpectedly hard shot by Haimo Walther in the 3rd minute of play forced THC Danzig's goalkeeper Kuno Hocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Surbostel's goal looked a bit too open when Crispin Debus came free, but Meinolf Spreisler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskar Ahlf in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kuno Hocker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kuno Hocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haimo Walther in the 19th minute of play. In the 40th minute Florian Diebold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meinolf Spreisler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Hocker was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Haimo Walther capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haimo Walther really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

57 minutes into the game, Noah Parlik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THC Danzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surbostel the free kick. THC Danzig's Kuno Hocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Ahlf in the 60th minute of play. If Haimo Walther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Ahlf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Hocker having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Oskar Ahlf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuno Hocker was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. THC Danzig's Kuno Hocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haimo Walther in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Haimo Walther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surbostel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haimo Walther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haimo Walther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kuno Hocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Surbostel's Haimo Walther got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haimo Walther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in THC Danzig's zone, Haimo Walther stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuno Hocker came out of the goal and Haimo Walther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes of play, Surbostel's Oskar Ahlf made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuno Hocker was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 88 minutes, Crispin Debus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THC Danzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Crispin Debus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ali Ternes fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THC Danzig's protests and gave Ali Ternes a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Ternes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Casimir Bischoff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kuno Hocker skillfully saved the ball. Surbostel's Casimir Bischoff couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for THC Danzig. After having played for 98 minutes, Haimo Walther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surbostel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haimo Walther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Surbostel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
