When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Janek Merges put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Björn Czerkus. After a defensive mix-up in Ensterknick FC's zone, Ovidiu Fetanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Thiel came out of the goal and Ovidiu Fetanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Thiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Fetanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harald Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ensterknick FC's Norbert Thiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Fetanu in the 24th minute of play. Björn Czerkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janek Merges in the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Siyah Sancak's Ovidiu Fetanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Thiel. That made the score 1-3 after 29 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Siyah Sancak defense, Cem Rieger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Czerkus. The Siyah Sancak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Czerkus should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ensterknick FC booed when Siyah Sancak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raban Sempert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Czerkus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janek Merges's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Norbert Thiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Bender in the 41st minute. Norbert Thiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Fetanu in the 43rd minute of the match. Björn Czerkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cem Rieger in the 45th minute of play. The Siyah Sancak players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ensterknick FC were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cem Rieger to make the kick off. Norbert Thiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Fetanu in the 56th minute of play. Harald Bender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Norbert Thiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Cem Rieger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Björn Czerkus. Cem Rieger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Björn Czerkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cem Rieger in the 67th minute of play. Norbert Thiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Bender in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Ensterknick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Brummer to maneuver through the defense. Ensterknick FC's Cem Rieger was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cem Rieger charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cem Rieger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ensterknick FC's Cem Rieger got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ovidiu Fetanu made a precise shot to the right of Norbert Thiel. Ensterknick FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Björn Czerkus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Rieger, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ralf Brummer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Czerkus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf Brummer ran back to his position shaking his head. Ensterknick FC's Cem Rieger got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cem Rieger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
