After 3 played minutes Erberich got a freekick which was hit by Theo Cyrkel. Norbert Janssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Sonnenschein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Radenko Dirkes made a huge save. In the 16th minute Ernst Zug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Balke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leutfritz FSV's Walter Sonnenschein got a free kick in the 20th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Erberich's goalkeeper Radenko Dirkes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Schmugge. Walter Sonnenschein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Walter Sonnenschein from a close distance when the talented Radenko Dirkes managed to make a qualified save. Erberich's players were relieved. When Frerk Ramelow came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Leutfritz FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frerk Ramelow couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Oliver Hollstein hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ernst Zug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Weihrich during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Erberich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Weihrich to maneuver through the defense. Frerk Ramelow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radenko Dirkes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Erberich's Theo Cyrkel got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Radenko Dirkes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Hollstein in the 76th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Ernst Zug who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leutfritz FSV's Nathan Balke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Theo Cyrkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walter Sonnenschein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Frerk Ramelow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leutfritz FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leutfritz FSV fully deserved thier win.
