Jerzy Widmer ran back to his position shaking his head. Berend Amstutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raiko Schulmeyer in the 12th minute of play. Julius Holldorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Julius Holldorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Holldorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Widmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raoul Grabowski in the 28th minute of play forced Leiberstung's goalkeeper Berend Amstutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Moldenhauer got free with Manuel Inderdohnen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julius Holldorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Inderdohnen having to interfere. Jerzy Widmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berend Amstutz having to interfere. Berend Amstutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Widmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berend Amstutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raiko Schulmeyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Victoria Engers's zone, Marian Moldenhauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Inderdohnen came out of the goal and Marian Moldenhauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julius Holldorf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, FC Victoria Engers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Grabowski to maneuver through the defense. Marian Moldenhauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Holldorf in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Inderdohnen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julius Holldorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. In the 75th match minute, Leiberstung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pinkas Kellner to maneuver through the defense. Berend Amstutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raiko Schulmeyer in the 79th minute of the match. Berend Amstutz was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Raiko Schulmeyer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raiko Schulmeyer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. With a little luck, Leiberstung's Berend Amstutz got control of the ball when Jerzy Widmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berend Amstutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raiko Schulmeyer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Jerzy Widmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Victoria Engers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Widmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Victoria Engers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
