Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hubert Weilbächer made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Weilbächer in the 4th minute of play forced Todenmann's goalkeeper Burkhard Gabler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Levi Hüter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burkhard Gabler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Todenmann's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Hüter came free, but Burkhard Gabler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levi Hüter in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burkhard Gabler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Levi Hüter sped through Todenmann's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burkhard Gabler. Wolfgang Rippert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Karl Timm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Levi Hüter came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hamburger SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levi Hüter couldn't finish the play. If Vaclav Laing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Rippert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Timm. Wolfgang Rippert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Burkhard Gabler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Jurgeleit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Levi Hüter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Burkhard Gabler having to make a save. Levi Hüter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhard Gabler having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Levi Hüter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Burkhard Gabler was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wolfgang Rippert made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Todenmann's goalkeeper Burkhard Gabler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levi Hüter. Hubert Weilbächer kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Hubert Weilbächer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wolfgang Nergert during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Todenmann getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wolfgang Nergert hit a great ball. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Todenmann! The goalkeeper, Burkhard Gabler, was totally fooled by Hamburger SV's Holger Jaeniche, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 78th minute, Wolfgang Rippert made a precise shot to the right of Karl Timm. Hamburger SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Hubert Weilbächer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Weilbächer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Todenmann's Wolfgang Nergert got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Todenmann could leave the field as winners, despite Hamburger SV having more of the ball for most of the match.
