Michael Bruske started the match with the kick off. If Mel Schnarr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unterbergscheid's Marian Jakobeit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Bruske in the 6th minute of play. Bertram Bettin's late challenge caught a Edemissen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertram Bettin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Bertram Bettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frieder Evertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Wirkner having to interfere. Marian Jakobeit was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Michael Bruske capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Bruske really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frieder Evertz in the 17th minute of play forced Edemissen's goalkeeper Ricardo Wirkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Unterbergscheid getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bertram Bettin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Bruske in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Jakobeit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mel Schnarr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edemissen's supporters rose to their feet, but Mel Schnarr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Jakobeit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Bruske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marian Jakobeit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mel Schnarr might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Jakobeit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mel Schnarr ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Edemissen's zone, Werner Ruck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Wirkner came out of the goal and Werner Ruck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Edemissen got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Stoletzky. If Frieder Evertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Werner Ruck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Wirkner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Egon Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Mel Schnarr struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marian Jakobeit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edemissen. Marian Jakobeit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Bruske in the 54th minute of the match. Michael Bruske fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Jakobeit having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Edemissen's goalkeeper Ricardo Wirkner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frieder Evertz. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Michael Bruske managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edemissen's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Bruske was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Jakobeit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unterbergscheid's Boris Trenner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Wirkner but with some difficulty. If Werner Ruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Wirkner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frieder Evertz in the 78th minute. Werner Ruck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ricardo Wirkner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frieder Evertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Werner Ruck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bertram Bettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unterbergscheid's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Bettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Wirkner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frieder Evertz got free with Ricardo Wirkner in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Bruske sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
