An unexpectedly hard shot by Siegfried Seiss in the 10th minute of play forced coruchense's goalkeeper Yildiray Nickel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the coruchense defense, Siegfried Seiss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yildiray Nickel. The coruchense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yildiray Nickel should have stopped the shot. Daniel Körper's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Johannes Fischbach skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute Kornelius Göller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yildiray Nickel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domian Nehrbauer charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domian Nehrbauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes coruchense got a freekick which was hit by Domian Nehrbauer. Yildiray Nickel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornelius Göller in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Domian Nehrbauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Johannes Fischbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yildiray Nickel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siegfried Seiss in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Siegfried Seiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yildiray Nickel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Chemnitzer FC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Paulus. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kornelius Göller made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Kornelius Göller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yildiray Nickel. That made the score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. Daniel Körper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Baur took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Fischbach. Johannes Fischbach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After having played for 71 minutes, Atze Wolter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. coruchense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atze Wolter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, David Baur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The coruchense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Yildiray Nickel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kornelius Göller in the 77th minute of play. Christof Schneidewind kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Aloys Schilke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yildiray Nickel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Douglas Scherzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, coruchense's Yildiray Nickel got control of the ball when Utz Küpper tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Siegfried Seiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. coruchense's Yildiray Nickel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save coruchense from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siegfried Seiss got free with Yildiray Nickel in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 minutes of play coruchense's Domian Nehrbauer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Chemnitzer FC booed when coruchense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domian Nehrbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Chemnitzer FC's Kornelius Göller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yildiray Nickel. That made the score 4-4 after 98 minutes of play.
