If Siegmund Jungbluth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lothar Breitlinger fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reichenbacher FC's protests and gave Lothar Breitlinger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Reichenbacher FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothar Breitlinger to maneuver through the defense. Krister Fritschken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Frederic Fischer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Luz Schlüter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mölschow's Mehmet Ertas Walden didn't even have to move. Krister Fritschken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krister Fritschken scored 1-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederic Fischer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gus Ostmeyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Krister Fritschken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Fischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mölschow's zone, Renke Klehn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ertas Walden came out of the goal and Renke Klehn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renke Klehn took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Ertas Walden. Mehmet Ertas Walden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Siegmund Jungbluth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Renke Klehn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Ertas Walden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 71st minute, Siegmund Jungbluth made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Ertas Walden. Mölschow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Mölschow's Mehmet Ertas Walden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siegmund Jungbluth in the 75th minute of play. Alec Jesse kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Reichenbacher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Ostmeyer came free, but Frederic Fischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Reichenbacher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Ostmeyer came free, but Frederic Fischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Reichenbacher FC defense, Gus Ostmeyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederic Fischer. The Reichenbacher FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederic Fischer should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Reichenbacher FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mölschow throughout the match.
