Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Norbert Bergner with Giovanni Assmann as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mischa Himmelmann scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfons Horrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Klaus Guttenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hannes Muhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Peter-Michael Freye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter-Michael Freye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Muhr in the 14th minute of play. Alfons Horrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mischa Himmelmann in the 15th minute of the match. Hannes Muhr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter-Michael Freye having to make a save. Peter-Michael Freye came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Medusa Gallus's Klaus Guttenberg. But to his dismay, Klaus Guttenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Peter-Michael Freye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Muhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Medusa Gallus were awarded a corner. Klaus Guttenberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Klaus Guttenberg made a great header on Medusa Gallus's corner, it was just that Hertha's Peter-Michael Freye managed to reach the ball for a save. Mischa Himmelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Hannes Muhr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medusa Gallus's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Muhr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter-Michael Freye breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Muhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hannes Muhr was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mischa Himmelmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Horrer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, Hertha's Mischa Himmelmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Horrer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Klaus Guttenberg notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Hertha's Peter-Michael Freye. Peter-Michael Freye was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Hertha's Mischa Himmelmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Horrer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Medusa Gallus booed when Hertha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gero Hülsmeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Medusa Gallus's Klaus Guttenberg made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter-Michael Freye was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hannes Muhr might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter-Michael Freye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hannes Muhr ran back to his position shaking his head. Gero Hülsmeyer kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Peter-Michael Freye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klaus Guttenberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Hannes Muhr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Peter-Michael Freye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantin Altherr scored 9-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter-Michael Freye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Hannes Muhr made a precise shot to the right of Peter-Michael Freye. Hertha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-2.
