Armin Klaßen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sandro Ochmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Ochmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Klaßen in the 27th minute of play. Eckhard Willsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torben Evers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Karlheinz Schreiber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torben Evers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aziz Dörfler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Aziz Dörfler came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Escher FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Dörfler couldn't finish the play. Armin Klaßen struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sandro Ochmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanburg Spaß Verein. Kai Klöckner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Sandro Ochmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kai Klöckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
