Kort Niklaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Hübener in the 8th minute of the match. Klemens Widenmeyer's late challenge caught a Josereute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klemens Widenmeyer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Klemens Widenmeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Gerke Viapiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Batzdorf's Kort Niklaus didn't even have to move. After having played for 14 minutes, Vaclav Gatzke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josereute's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaclav Gatzke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Hübener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kort Niklaus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Kort Niklaus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaclav Gatzke went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hanns Krenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hanns Krenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Claus Hartl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vaclav Gatzke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Hübener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kort Niklaus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Batzdorf's zone, Vaclav Gatzke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kort Niklaus came out of the goal and Vaclav Gatzke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Josereute booed when Batzdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klemens Widenmeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaclav Gatzke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kort Niklaus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Hübener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Hübener to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaclav Gatzke in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kort Niklaus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kolja Krüger charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 92 minutes, Simon Damovsky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Josereute and the Batzdorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Josereute's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
