Claus Hartl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Kührt's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Claus Hartl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Kührt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaclav Gatzke got free with Hergen Töpfer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaclav Gatzke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Hergen Töpfer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josereute's Claus Hartl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Gehre in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Hübener to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominik Kührt in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claus Hartl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorsten Gehre got free with Claus Hartl in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 58 minutes, Vaclav Gatzke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josereute's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaclav Gatzke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes, Dominik Kührt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolframsdorf and the Josereute players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claus Hartl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Kührt, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Josereute supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolframsdorf's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolframsdorf.
