Falkenhütten FC's Fred Scholzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Moos in the 9th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Falkenhütten FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Moos came free, but Fred Scholzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernhard Seidl in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fred Scholzen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 19 minutes into the game, Albert Habibi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gismund Bogner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC GoldenEagle's Fox Palten got a free kick in the 29th minute. Albert Habibi took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gismund Bogner. Gismund Bogner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Christoph Moos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddi Schetelig hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Falkenhütten FC booed when FC GoldenEagle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Schaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christoph Moos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Moos in the 55th minute of play forced Falkenhütten FC's goalkeeper Fred Scholzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falkenhütten FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ari Nelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gismund Bogner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoph Moos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Falkenhütten FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Schlünz to maneuver through the defense. Bernhard Seidl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Scholzen having to interfere. With 81 minutes on the clock, Renke Gambke commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Falkenhütten FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Falk Drescher kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Ari Nelles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falkenhütten FC and the FC GoldenEagle players grew even worse after the yellow card.
