With a little luck, Kurdistan United's Klemens Lunau got control of the ball when Bertil Hirt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Beushausen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Bethge, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The Kurdistan United fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Kurdistan United's Albert Bethge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Speedstars:s Ali Beushausen showed great skill when he stopped Ulrich Bowermann:s penalty. If Niklas Lanier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Hirt got free with Klemens Lunau in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Speedstars's Carsten Olyschläger got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ulrich Bowermann, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bertil Hirt made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Anton Hamann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francesco Hoffmeier hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Giacomo Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Niklas Lanier made a precise shot to the right of Klemens Lunau. Kurdistan United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kurdistan United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
