Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bert Lojewski started the match with the kick off. Iker Gädechens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Baller went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Iker Gädechens made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rato Lührmann sent off a good shot on target. Rato Lührmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rato Lührmann came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iker Gädechens could save by the left post. Jörg Bäßler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, F-Hain Boxing Club's Bert Lojewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Gädechens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Manheim FSV's goalkeeper Iker Gädechens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rato Lührmann. If Rato Lührmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Rato Lührmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F-Hain Boxing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rato Lührmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Piet Kleist fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manheim FSV's protests and gave Piet Kleist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Manheim FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet Kleist to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Höher, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfons Schmitt to strike the kick off in the second half. Rato Lührmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Brennecke's late challenge caught a F-Hain Boxing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Brennecke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manheim FSV's goalkeeper Iker Gädechens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bert Lojewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Iker Gädechens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simeon Lausberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes F-Hain Boxing Club got a freekick which was hit by David Haaf. Iker Gädechens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rato Lührmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Lojewski in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Gädechens saved Manheim FSV from getting behind. Iker Gädechens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Lojewski in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Manheim FSV getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Erik Brennecke hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rato Lührmann in the 83rd minute of play forced Manheim FSV's goalkeeper Iker Gädechens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Lojewski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Iker Gädechens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F-Hain Boxing Club. The F-Hain Boxing Club fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when F-Hain Boxing Club's Rato Lührmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Arnold Drobinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. F-Hain Boxing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Drobinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Gädechens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Rato Lührmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Bert Lojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Gädechens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F-Hain Boxing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
