Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bert Lojewski got the match started through his kick off. Ralph Thierle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Görtzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austin Brüggmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rato Lührmann in the 7th minute of the match. Austin Brüggmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rato Lührmann in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Bert Lojewski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marpingen FC's Austin Brüggmann. Austin Brüggmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F-Hain Boxing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Andre Görtzen scored to the left of an out of position Ralph Thierle, making the score, 1-1. Torben Metz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Kassian Knapp could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Ralph Thierle however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th match minute, F-Hain Boxing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Notz to maneuver through the defense. Austin Brüggmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Lojewski in the 31st minute of play. Andre Görtzen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralph Thierle having to make a save. Kassian Knapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kassian Knapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Thierle having to interfere. Ralph Thierle made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kassian Knapp sent off a good shot on target. F-Hain Boxing Club's Ralph Thierle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Görtzen in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kassian Knapp got free with Ralph Thierle in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bert Lojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Brüggmann having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andre Görtzen made a kick off. Peter-Stefan Seelenbinder charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter-Stefan Seelenbinder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marpingen FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rato Lührmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. F-Hain Boxing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rato Lührmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austin Brüggmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of F-Hain Boxing Club booed when Marpingen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Metz didn't get a good kick on the ball. F-Hain Boxing Club's Bert Lojewski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, F-Hain Boxing Club's Bert Lojewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Austin Brüggmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andre Görtzen charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Görtzen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 72 minutes into the match, F-Hain Boxing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kassian Knapp came free, but Ralph Thierle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Lojewski in the 74th minute of play forced Marpingen FC's goalkeeper Austin Brüggmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torben Metz got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 76th minute, Torben Metz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Rato Lührmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F-Hain Boxing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rato Lührmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Marpingen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Lojewski came free, but Austin Brüggmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Rato Lührmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Marpingen FC's Götz Parpart got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Marpingen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Görtzen to maneuver through the defense. Marpingen FC's Austin Brüggmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Marpingen FC from getting a goal against them. If Rato Lührmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
