Spectators: 7430 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Gelacio started the match with the kick off. Kassian Knapp took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marvin Lefering. Marvin Lefering dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Görtzen in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marvin Lefering prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Kassian Knapp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marpingen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Austin Brüggmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Igor Gelacio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 27th playminute. In the 35th minute, Christian Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marvin Lefering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kassian Knapp in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Igor Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bosewitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Gelacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marvin Lefering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Görtzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 48 minutes, Andre Görtzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marpingen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Görtzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Görtzen was the one to do the kick off. Kassian Knapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Marpingen FC's Kassian Knapp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marvin Lefering narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 59 minutes, Kassian Knapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marpingen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kassian Knapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Friedrich Rudinsky was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bosewitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marpingen FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Friedrich Rudinsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kassian Knapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marvin Lefering having to interfere. Bosewitz's Igor Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marvin Lefering made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Kassian Knapp sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Andre Görtzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Lefering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marpingen FC's Andre Görtzen in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bosewitz's goalie prevented a goal. Igor Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Brüggmann having to interfere. Kassian Knapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marvin Lefering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bosewitz's Marvin Lefering proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Bosewitz from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Torben Metz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Lefering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Marpingen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Görtzen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marpingen FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Torben Metz hit a great ball. Austin Brüggmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kassian Knapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marvin Lefering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bosewitz's Marvin Lefering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Görtzen in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bosewitz's goalkeeper Marvin Lefering, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marvin Lefering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Görtzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marpingen FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
