Rupert Hädicke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Guy Haskamp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rupert Hädicke. Guy Haskamp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rupert Hädicke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Wilke in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Wilke in the 22nd minute of play forced Egelsbach's goalkeeper Rupert Hädicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Hädicke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Haskamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egelsbach's Rupert Hädicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Machold in the 25th minute of play. With splendid footwork Guy Haskamp arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Neustadt Am Rübenberge FC's Bertil Wilke got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Bruno Ziegler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enriko Stoletzky was relentless in the 30th minute of the game.
