Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Stelze started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fridolin Düllings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Untermittelberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1.FC Magdeburg the free kick. Sven Hattermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Detlef Bender. Untermittelberg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kevin Stelze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1.FC Magdeburg's Alfred Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veit Habermas in the 7th minute of play. When Veit Habermas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Untermittelberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veit Habermas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Untermittelberg booed when 1.FC Magdeburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Klingberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Cedric Klesper's long shot passed Alfred Seng's right side. It was 0-1, 15 minutes into the match. Veit Habermas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfred Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Veit Habermas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Untermittelberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veit Habermas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Kevin Stelze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Seng. 1.FC Magdeburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Stelze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The attack was good, but when Leonhard Bloch in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 30 minutes, Kevin Stelze made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. 1.FC Magdeburg's Alfred Seng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens Eberhard kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Untermittelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Leonhard Bloch came free, but Detlef Bender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Detlef Bender was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Leonhard Bloch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonhard Bloch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After the first half Untermittelberg were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leonhard Bloch made the kick off in the second half. Alfred Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Stelze, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kevin Stelze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alfred Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veit Habermas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alfred Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Untermittelberg. Alfred Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Stelze in the 60th minute of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Veit Habermas from a close distance when the talented Alfred Seng managed to make a qualified save. 1.FC Magdeburg's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonhard Bloch in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Detlef Bender saved Untermittelberg from getting behind. Veit Habermas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Alfred Seng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonhard Bloch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Stelze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Seng having to interfere. In the 76th minute Kevin Stelze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golo Cengiz charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Golo Cengiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Golo Cengiz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in 1.FC Magdeburg's zone, Veit Habermas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Seng came out of the goal and Veit Habermas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Leonhard Bloch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veit Habermas got free with Alfred Seng in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slaven Hörster during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Veit Habermas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kevin Stelze in the 88th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alfred Seng kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 92nd minute, Leonhard Bloch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Detlef Bender was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Untermittelberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
