After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jannick Wolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. TV Breuberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jannick Wolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wirmighausen's Reinhold Faller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannick Wolf in the 32nd minute of play. Reinhold Faller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntram Heubeck's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The supporters of TV Breuberg booed when Wirmighausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Schnehage didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wirmighausen's zone, Guntram Heubeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhold Faller came out of the goal and Guntram Heubeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Prospero Protzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jannick Wolf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinhold Faller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Yannik Manzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kord Bruns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half TV Breuberg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kord Bruns to strike the kick off in the second half. Yannik Manzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Reifmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Wirmighausen's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Alfert came free, but Reinhold Faller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, TV Breuberg's goal looked a bit too open when Kord Bruns came free, but Yannik Manzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannick Wolf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Reinhold Faller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reinhold Faller came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by TV Breuberg's Jannick Wolf. But to his dismay, Jannick Wolf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Reinhold Faller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Alfert in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute Jannick Wolf suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Alois Stauff kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Wirmighausen getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kai Schnehage hit a great ball. Donny Reifmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Reifmann in the 91st minute of play forced TV Breuberg's goalkeeper Yannik Manzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yannik Manzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kord Bruns, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Helmut Alfert charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helmut Alfert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helmut Alfert hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The TV Breuberg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
