Leif-Eric Welzel came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Babel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Elmar Dominicus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Uwe Thömmes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolaus Bradel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Leo Runge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Siederdissen FC's Curtis Wörmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe Thömmes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leif-Eric Welzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Babel in the 32nd minute of the match. Siederdissen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TuS Schönenberg the free kick. Luka Runge kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The tension between the TuS Schönenberg and the Siederdissen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TuS Schönenberg getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Arthur Fleig hit a great ball. When Klaus Timme fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siederdissen FC's protests and gave Klaus Timme a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Siederdissen FC's Klaus Timme got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Roman Babel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Leif-Eric Welzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joe Schenk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
