Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Balduin Wanders started the match with the kick off. Abel Neubert made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Timotheus Gröger sent off a good shot on target. Timotheus Gröger made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Abel Neubert would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Dominik Winterhalter hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Alexander Schmeisser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Könau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Schmeisser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Timotheus Gröger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Könau's supporters rose to their feet, but Timotheus Gröger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Neubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Alexander Schmeisser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Schmeisser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abel Neubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Schmeisser in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Neubert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, one of Fortschritt Oschatz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fortschritt Oschatz. Freddy Teuwen shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience was convinced that Alexander Schmeisser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Neubert was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Alexander Schmeisser in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Neubert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Abel Neubert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Schmeisser's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Timotheus Gröger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Neubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fritz Ernst Maier's late challenge caught a Fortschritt Oschatz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Ernst Maier helped the player get up and apologised. Fritz Ernst Maier hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Alexander Schmeisser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Könau's Timotheus Gröger got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fortschritt Oschatz's zone, Timotheus Gröger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Neubert came out of the goal and Timotheus Gröger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Schmeisser made a kick off. Abel Neubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timotheus Gröger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timotheus Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexander Schmeisser, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abel Neubert was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 65th minute Timotheus Gröger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Alexander Schmeisser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Balduin Wanders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Timotheus Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balduin Wanders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theobald Lichtenberg having to interfere. During the 84th minute of the match Elmar Eder completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elmar Eder a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Timotheus Gröger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Timotheus Gröger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Neubert was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Timotheus Gröger struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Abel Neubert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Könau. When the referee ended the match the Könau players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
