Fortschritt Oschatz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niederbolheim SC the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Roland Ziervogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hubert Döpper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Burchardt having to interfere. The supporters of Fortschritt Oschatz booed when Niederbolheim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Baier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Döpper succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Fortschritt Oschatz's Abel Neubert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Baier in the 25th minute of play. Hubert Baier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Neubert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The Niederbolheim SC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Niederbolheim SC's Marcel Haubold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Hubert Baier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Balduin Wanders recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ture Burchardt. Balduin Wanders showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Abel Neubert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Haubold in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Haubold made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Balduin Wanders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortschritt Oschatz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balduin Wanders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ture Burchardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balduin Wanders in the 65th minute of the match. If Balduin Wanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Niederbolheim SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Zacharias to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Philipp Jokerst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortschritt Oschatz and the Niederbolheim SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fortschritt Oschatz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Balduin Wanders took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ture Burchardt. Ture Burchardt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ture Burchardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balduin Wanders in the 87th minute of play. Immo Credo's late challenge caught a Niederbolheim SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Immo Credo helped the player get up and apologised.
