A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Ennigerloh FC booed when Rimslrain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Schelberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ewald Pfeffermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Reh was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 8 minutes, Bertram Kuppinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rimslrain FC and the Ennigerloh FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bertram Kuppinger hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Waldemar Schelberg charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Schelberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Rimslrain FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Schelberg. In the 11th minute Ewald Pfeffermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Reh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Josef Tochtermann came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rimslrain FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Tochtermann couldn't finish the play. Josef Tochtermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gert Wanderwitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Konstantin Bretschneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gert Wanderwitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rimslrain FC's zone, Ewald Pfeffermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Reh came out of the goal and Ewald Pfeffermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ewald Pfeffermann struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edmund Reh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ennigerloh FC. Edmund Reh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hanns Brandstrup went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ewald Pfeffermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Konstantin Bretschneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Tochtermanns short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Gert Wanderwitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rimslrain FC's Hendrik Mehlbaum shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gert Wanderwitz but with some difficulty. Konstantin Bretschneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Wanderwitz having to interfere.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstantin Bretschneider in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Wanderwitz saved Ennigerloh FC from getting behind. When Josef Tochtermann came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rimslrain FC fans jumped to their feet. Gert Wanderwitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Schelberg in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Ewald Pfeffermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Reh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hanns Brandstrup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Edmund Reh made a huge save.
