Josef Tochtermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ture Burchardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Reh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Haubold, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Konstantin Bretschneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Tochtermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Burchardt having to interfere. In the 20th minute Konstantin Bretschneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Burchardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hubert Baier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niederbolheim SC's Ture Burchardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Tochtermann in the 28th minute of play. Bertram Kuppinger struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ture Burchardt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rimslrain FC. Ture Burchardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Tochtermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Niederbolheim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Tochtermann came free, but Ture Burchardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hubert Baier to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bertram Kuppinger sped through Niederbolheim SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Burchardt. Josef Tochtermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Tochtermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ture Burchardt made a huge save. The supporters of Niederbolheim SC booed when Rimslrain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Bretschneider didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Tochtermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ture Burchardt having to make a save. After 71 minutes, Bertram Kuppinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rimslrain FC and the Niederbolheim SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bertram Kuppinger hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Hubert Baier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Tochtermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ture Burchardt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Tochtermann ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Bertram Kuppinger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rimslrain FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Konstantin Bretschneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Bertram Kuppinger sped through Niederbolheim SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ture Burchardt.
