Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ewald Pfeffermann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hanns Brandstrup got free with Theobald Lichtenberg in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Schmeisser struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Gert Wanderwitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Könau. Uwe Radant hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ewald Pfeffermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Theobald Lichtenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Könau getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fritz Ernst Maier hit a great ball. If Hanns Brandstrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingmar Burgwart during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ewald Pfeffermann in the 22nd minute of play forced Könau's goalkeeper Theobald Lichtenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Wanderwitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ellis Aigle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Ellis Aigle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Wanderwitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Könau got a freekick which was hit by Ellis Aigle. Gert Wanderwitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Schmeisser, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ellis Aigle took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gert Wanderwitz. Gert Wanderwitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gert Wanderwitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellis Aigle in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Ennigerloh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Burgwart to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Freddy Teuwen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Wanderwitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uwe Radant kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellis Aigle made a kick off. Elmar Eder charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elmar Eder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Elmar Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ewald Pfeffermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hanns Brandstrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theobald Lichtenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Ennigerloh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Aigle came free, but Gert Wanderwitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Schmeisser took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gert Wanderwitz. Gert Wanderwitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellis Aigle in the 89th minute of play forced Ennigerloh FC's goalkeeper Gert Wanderwitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Bähr charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Bähr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Könau's Niclas Bähr got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Könau defense, Hanns Brandstrup kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theobald Lichtenberg. The Könau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theobald Lichtenberg should have stopped the shot.
