The supporters of Türkspor booed when Fortschritt Oschatz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Immo Credo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balduin Wanders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arend Rathje having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balduin Wanders made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Braster in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Neubert saved Fortschritt Oschatz from getting behind. When Ronaldo Braster came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Türkspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Braster couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Volk in the 58th minute of play forced Fortschritt Oschatz's goalkeeper Abel Neubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balduin Wanders in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Abel Neubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hansjörg Volk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Türkspor were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Fortschritt Oschatz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Max Kienast took the corner.
