Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 50) Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Frederik Babusch managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfB Flockenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Babusch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragan Kerth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopold Britz got free with Dragan Kerth in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Eifel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Babusch came free, but Dragan Kerth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eifel FC's Raffael Pitten got a free kick in the 7th minute. Henk Ferber was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eifel FC's Dragan Kerth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Eifel FC from getting a goal against them. Monty Keilbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hans Breuninger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Eifel FC's Matthias Schmidt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Breuninger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kilian Harnack hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hans Breuninger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Keilbach went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Matthias Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Breuninger having to interfere. Dragan Kerth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Fülberth, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hans Breuninger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Schmidt in the 37th minute of play. Monty Keilbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Kilian Harnack could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Dragan Kerth however easily saved by the left post.

Dragan Kerth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Harnack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VfB Flockenbach's Hans Breuninger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Schmidt in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, VfB Flockenbach's goalkeeper Hans Breuninger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Schmidt. Norbert Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Eifel FC booed when VfB Flockenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieter Dinges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty Keilbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hans Breuninger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the match Bernward Römer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Breuninger skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute Leopold Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragan Kerth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Monty Keilbach took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Hans Breuninger to make any attempt to save it. Monty Keilbach charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Monty Keilbach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dragan Kerth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Harnack in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Eifel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Britz came free, but Dragan Kerth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The VfB Flockenbach supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Eifel FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Eifel FC.
