Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Niedermanderscheid's Franz Borgers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Spreeau FC's Luis Bickelhaupt got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luigi Strachowitz lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 8 minutes into the game, one of Spreeau FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gülsün Baron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Reeb, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Niedermanderscheid's goalkeeper Karlheinz Sachse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Bickelhaupt. In the 22nd minute, Franz Borgers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gülsün Baron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jim Reeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Reeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gülsün Baron having to interfere. The supporters of Spreeau FC booed when Niedermanderscheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Fock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlheinz Sachse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Bickelhaupt in the 34th minute. Gülsün Baron came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Niedermanderscheid's Franz Borgers. But to his dismay, Franz Borgers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Niedermanderscheid's Agilo Prause got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Franz Borgers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niedermanderscheid's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Borgers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gülsün Baron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, one of Spreeau FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spreeau FC. The referee gave Niedermanderscheid a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christian Fock, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Spreeau FC's Gülsün Baron. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Bickelhaupt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Luis Bickelhaupt made a precise shot to the right of Karlheinz Sachse. Niedermanderscheid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Niedermanderscheid getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christian Fock hit a great ball. Luis Bickelhaupt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlheinz Sachse having to interfere. Franz Borgers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gülsün Baron having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Spreeau FC's Luis Bickelhaupt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karlheinz Sachse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. With a little luck, Spreeau FC's Gülsün Baron got control of the ball when Jim Reeb tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Luis Bickelhaupt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spreeau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bickelhaupt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Luis Bickelhaupt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Franz Borgers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gülsün Baron was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. If Franz Borgers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franz Borgers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 96 minutes into the match, Niedermanderscheid's Jim Reeb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gülsün Baron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franz Borgers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gülsün Baron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niedermanderscheid's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
