Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franz Borgers started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Reeb in the 4th minute of play forced Dondaj's goalkeeper Egbert Jarosch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Borgers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Jarosch having to interfere. Dondaj's Karsten Schäfer got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Brandstädt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Hinrik Volz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Franz Borgers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Hans Bakunin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Jarosch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agilo Prause charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agilo Prause the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egbert Jarosch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Reeb in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Niedermanderscheid booed when Dondaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Kaminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes, Denis Kaminski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dondaj and the Niedermanderscheid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Kaminski hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Franz Borgers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Niedermanderscheid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jim Reeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Jarosch having to interfere. Franz Borgers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egbert Jarosch having to make a save. Franz Borgers hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Dondaj's Karsten Schäfer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karlheinz Sachse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Dondaj got a freekick which was hit by Hinrik Volz. In the 48th minute, Christian Fock sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dondaj's Egbert Jarosch didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karsten Schäfer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Franz Borgers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Karsten Schäfer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dondaj's supporters rose to their feet, but Karsten Schäfer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karlheinz Sachse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Dondaj's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Borgers came free, but Egbert Jarosch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Kaminski got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Dondaj getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denis Kaminski hit a great ball. Franz Borgers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Egbert Jarosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Reeb succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. If Jim Reeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niedermanderscheid's Jim Reeb got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jim Reeb came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Niedermanderscheid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Reeb couldn't finish the play. Jim Reeb struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Egbert Jarosch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niedermanderscheid. After having played for 93 minutes, Franz Borgers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niedermanderscheid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Borgers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Reeb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niedermanderscheid's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
