Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Franz Borgers got the match started through his kick off. Karlheinz Sachse came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach. But to his dismay, Monty Keilbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Matthias Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eifel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karlheinz Sachse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Eifel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Boxberger to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Gerke Kahl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragan Kerth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Schmidt in the 12th minute of play forced Niedermanderscheid's goalkeeper Karlheinz Sachse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eifel FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raffael Pitten kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Eifel FC's Dragan Kerth got control of the ball when Jim Reeb tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Steen Schering put in a rough tackle. 22 minutes into the game, one of Niedermanderscheid:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Niedermanderscheid:s Karlheinz Sachse showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Boxberger:s penalty. Jaime Boxberger took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karlheinz Sachse. Karlheinz Sachse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Monty Keilbach put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Karlheinz Sachse. Matthias Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Niedermanderscheid defense, Matthias Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karlheinz Sachse. The Niedermanderscheid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karlheinz Sachse should have stopped the shot. Bernward Römer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Eifel FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Helge Frangen hit a great ball. Niedermanderscheid's Jim Reeb got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Jim Reeb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Monty Keilbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlheinz Sachse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Monty Keilbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Eifel FC's Raffael Pitten got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Jim Reeb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragan Kerth. Eifel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jim Reeb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 75th match minute, Niedermanderscheid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Fock to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Boxberger was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Jim Reeb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Dragan Kerth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Matthias Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Karlheinz Sachse. Niedermanderscheid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. The Eifel FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
