Theo Zimmert struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Till Poll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Döbelner SC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Mücke got free with Joe Mörner in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Döbelner SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lokomotive Leipzig were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
