Jörg Kolbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kuno Bach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, STV Horst's Oskar Herbst got a free kick in the 10th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in STV Horst fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave bobimobil a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hubert Zips, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of STV Horst's Benny Pelzer. 0-1. Hubert Zips kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Jörg Kolbe came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the STV Horst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörg Kolbe couldn't finish the play. STV Horst's Benny Pelzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Ulrich Kettner in the 34th minute of play. If Benni Caspary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Jörg Kolbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STV Horst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörg Kolbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benni Caspary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Bach having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benni Caspary was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jörg Kolbe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuno Bach. bobimobil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörg Kolbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Tillmann Trenkel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of STV Horst's Benny Pelzer. Benny Pelzer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. STV Horst's Benny Pelzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Ulrich Kettner in the 63rd minute of play. Benny Pelzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Ulrich Kettner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benni Caspary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tillmann Trenkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tillmann Trenkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. The supporters of bobimobil booed when STV Horst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Fährmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, bobimobil's Hubert Zips broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benni Caspary struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Kuno Bach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STV Horst. Jörg Kolbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The STV Horst supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching bobimobil's performance. The match ended with a win for bobimobil.
