Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Sylbach's Edo Meling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robbie Bresonik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gus Heins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sylbach's David Lechner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Theurer in the 11th minute of play. Franz Haug kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ralph Theurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. David Lechner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Sylbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Haug to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Edo Meling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sylbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edo Meling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Zuse got free with Robbie Bresonik in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edo Meling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graham Tyroff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Lechner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Marc Zuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Bresonik having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graham Tyroff during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sylbach booed when Baumen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graham Tyroff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Zuse in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robbie Bresonik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Theurer was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Edo Meling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sylbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Edo Meling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie Bresonik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edo Meling might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbie Bresonik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edo Meling ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes Baumen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Dörken. 59 minutes into the match, Marc Zuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robbie Bresonik. Baumen FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Zuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Matthias Dörken fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baumen FSV's protests and gave Matthias Dörken a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Sylbach's Hennes Backes tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edo Meling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Robbie Bresonik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Edo Meling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Bresonik was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience was convinced that Ralph Theurer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Lechner was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Graham Tyroff kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marc Zuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Bresonik was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edo Meling in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbie Bresonik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edo Meling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Bresonik having to interfere. There was no doubt that Sylbach were the better team. Sylbach's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
