Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Josua Grützmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Eltze's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abbe Weida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Josua Grützmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Griese having to interfere. FC Grubhügel's Abbe Weida got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Grubhügel's zone, Merten Glaser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Haug came out of the goal and Merten Glaser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, FC Grubhügel's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Lütkebohmert came free, but Raphael Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eltze's Merten Glaser in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Grubhügel's goalie prevented a goal. Josef Griese was a little too slow when Theodor Röcker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Josua Grützmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Josef Griese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Eltze booed when FC Grubhügel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günter Kobs didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Josua Grützmann fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grubhügel's protests and gave Josua Grützmann a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the match, FC Grubhügel's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Lütkebohmert came free, but Raphael Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merten Glaser in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Haug saved FC Grubhügel from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Merten Glaser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Merten Glaser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Merten Glaser stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Eltze's zone, Josua Grützmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Griese came out of the goal and Josua Grützmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Eltze's Esau Banke got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eltze's zone, Abbe Weida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Griese came out of the goal and Abbe Weida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Merten Glaser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eltze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merten Glaser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Günter Kobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Esau Banke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eltze and the FC Grubhügel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes FC Grubhügel got a freekick which was hit by Günter Kobs. Josef Griese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbe Weida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Machold hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Josef Griese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Kobs in the 93rd minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Grubhügel were victorious despite being under pressure from Eltze for much of the match.
