When 崔广笑 came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Thomas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 崔广笑 couldn't finish the play. Axel Riedel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eggert Pahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute 崔广笑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eggert Pahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoine Thiessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dimos Kotsalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Otigheim FC's zone, Heiko Hauk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eggert Pahl came out of the goal and Heiko Hauk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 崔广笑 took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eggert Pahl. Eggert Pahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Friedrich Engel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eggert Pahl having to interfere. In the 44th minute 崔广笑 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eggert Pahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 崔广笑 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukas Wollbrinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederik Kobitzki charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frederik Kobitzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Friedrich Engel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eggert Pahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiko Hauk might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eggert Pahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heiko Hauk ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Heiko Hauk put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eggert Pahl. Friedrich Engel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eggert Pahl having to interfere. Eggert Pahl made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Heiko Hauk sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes of play, Thomas FC's 崔广笑 made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eggert Pahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas FC's Heiko Hauk got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Thomas FC's 崔广笑 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eggert Pahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 83 minutes into the match, 崔广笑 notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Otigheim FC's Eggert Pahl. Eggert Pahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thomas FC's Heiko Hauk got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89thth minute of the game Heiko Hauk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otigheim FC's Eggert Pahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Thomas FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Friedrich Engel hit a great ball. Eggert Pahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 崔广笑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Antoine Thiessen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
