Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edo Meling took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Merten Glaser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eltze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merten Glaser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Griese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Zuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ingo Lütkebohmert struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. David Lechner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eltze. In the 14th minute Marc Zuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Griese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gero Borner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josef Griese. Eltze's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Merten Glaser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Pickartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Eltze's Arnd Beinmagd got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Griese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Zuse in the 94th minute. Josef Griese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edo Meling, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
