The FC Grubhügel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Otigheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Thiessen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Grubhügel getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Josua Grützmann hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Antoine Thiessen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eggert Pahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josua Grützmann in the 19th minute of play. Josua Grützmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eggert Pahl having to make a save. 26 minutes into the game, FC Grubhügel's Abbe Weida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eggert Pahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Raphael Haug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Laabs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eggert Pahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbe Weida in the 41st minute of play. Josua Grützmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Abbe Weida managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Grubhügel's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbe Weida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eggert Pahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Wollbrinck in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Haug saved FC Grubhügel from getting behind. In the 61st minute, FC Grubhügel's Josua Grützmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Josua Grützmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antoine Thiessen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Günter Kobss short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Eggert Pahl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lukas Wollbrinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Otigheim FC's goalkeeper Eggert Pahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abbe Weida. The supporters of FC Grubhügel booed when Otigheim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Laabs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josua Grützmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eggert Pahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, David Laabs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raphael Haug. FC Grubhügel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Laabs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Thiessen in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Grubhügel's goalkeeper Raphael Haug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otigheim FC's Steffen Jaspers got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of FC Grubhügel echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Otigheim FC had held the ball for most of the match.
