After 14 minutes of play, FC Grubhügel's Abbe Weida made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Lechner was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, FC Grubhügel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Flad to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Haug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Edo Meling notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Grubhügel's Raphael Haug. Raphael Haug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marc Zuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Haug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edo Meling in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play FC Grubhügel's Theodor Röcker was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FC Grubhügel getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Theodor Röcker hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abbe Weida to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Edo Meling got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edo Meling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Haug having to interfere. Raphael Haug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edo Meling, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With his leg Raphael Haug managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sylbach's Marc Zuse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Sylbach booed when FC Grubhügel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Pappert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, FC Grubhügel's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Zuse came free, but Raphael Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raphael Haug, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th minute, Sylbach's Edo Meling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raphael Haug. Raphael Haug yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 74th minute, Josua Grützmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Edo Meling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Haug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Zuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Haug having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Edo Meling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sylbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Edo Meling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Haug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marc Zuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Haug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edo Meling, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
