Marko Podlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmus de Vries in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmus de Vries in the 17th minute of play forced FC Pesta's goalkeeper Marko Podlich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Georg Rose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Podlich was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, FC Pesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaden Ringel to maneuver through the defense. Georg Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iso Papst struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gerold Erkeling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pesta. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Iso Papst got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Poppendorf FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Poppendorf FC's Erasmus de Vries looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marko Podlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Rose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Rose to strike the kick off in the second half. Georg Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marko Podlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmus de Vries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marko Podlich made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pinkas Nieth during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Poppendorf FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Pinkas Nieth hit a great ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Gustel Matt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poppendorf FC's Gerold Erkeling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Erasmus de Vries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Georg Rose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pesta's Marko Podlich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Poppendorf FC's Georg Rose slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marko Podlich. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. Poppendorf FC's Gerold Erkeling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iso Papst in the 71st minute of play. Erasmus de Vries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Podlich having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, FC Pesta's Gustel Matt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerold Erkeling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Gustel Matt came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Pesta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustel Matt couldn't finish the play. Gustel Matt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poppendorf FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
