Frank Frenzle struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dennis Bopp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Germania Peickwitz. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Marcel Galeazzi got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Frank Frenzle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Borner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute, Mattes Scholl sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galatasaray SK's Dennis Bopp didn't even have to move.
