An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmerich Gröber in the 43rd minute of play forced Stelzen's goalkeeper Hendrik Sprodowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raffael Fröhlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benny Natusch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willi Kau hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Raffael Fröhlich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benny Natusch. Burkau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raffael Fröhlich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 93rd minute, Raffael Fröhlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Balser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Sprodowski having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Burkau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
