After a rather tough play, Wartjenstedt FSV's Moses Freitag got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Kilian Burckhardt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Eilenfeldt was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Thilo Vogl kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kilian Burckhardt scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Eilenfeldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Wartjenstedt FSV defense, Kilian Burckhardt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Eilenfeldt. The Wartjenstedt FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Eilenfeldt should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Crispin Glaser. If Crispin Glaser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Connor Irtel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wartjenstedt FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Irtel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ostenberg's Ilja Fischer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ostenberg from getting a goal against them. Balko Klumpp hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Connor Irtel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilja Fischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Connor Irtel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Fischer having to interfere. Wartjenstedt FSV's Connor Irtel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Crispin Glaser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ilja Fischer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Connor Irtel made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jules Volkmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Eilenfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Burckhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thilo Vogl in the 60th minute of play forced Ostenberg's goalkeeper Ilja Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilja Fischer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Connor Irtel's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Crispin Glaser came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Wartjenstedt FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispin Glaser couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Kilian Burckhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Kilian Burckhardt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Eilenfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilian Burckhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ekkehard Hellinger took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Eilenfeldt. Michael Eilenfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, Ostenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Connor Irtel came free, but Ilja Fischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Wartjenstedt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moses Freitag to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Crispin Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilja Fischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilja Fischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Irtel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Connor Irtel during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Connor Irtel might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilja Fischer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Connor Irtel ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ostenberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ostenberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
