Paulus Wienecke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Garske in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, D.S.I Eichenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Austin came free, but Paulus Wienecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Austin to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Damian Hartnick managed to get in a good position for a shot. D.S.I Eichenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Hartnick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pär Brecht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulus Wienecke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Austin's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the D.S.I Eichenberg defense, Mike Garske kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulus Wienecke. The D.S.I Eichenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulus Wienecke should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes of play, BerlinerDiavolo's Paul Austin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulus Wienecke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Pankotsch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pär Brecht came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Pankotsch slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 89th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in BerlinerDiavolo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The referee gave D.S.I Eichenberg a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gordon Knappe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BerlinerDiavolo's Pär Brecht. 2-2.
